A better shot of the front

The next picture is the back and it has all the kids names on it. It also has our family motto, which is, "No empty chairs in the eternities." This is a picture of the front. My dad loved running and was actually out running when he passed away, so on the bottom it says, "He just kept running home." You really can't see them in this picture, but right after that saying, there are little foot prints that lead up the heaven. Under the temple, it says, "Forever sweethearts." As much as we don't like the fact that he is gone, his headstone turned out as pretty as we hoped.
This might seem a little different to be posting, but my father just recently passed away and this is the first time some of my siblings are getting to see this. This is a picture of his headstone. We all miss him so much and it has been hard to not have him with us, but we know he is where he needs to be. We love you dad!!

Not our best picture, but we are having fun taking pictures of ourselves!!!

It is so amazing how sweet and innocent they are when they are sleeping??
Well, my new goal to live an un-boring life really hasn't worked. I never have anything to write about in my blog, but I feel that I can't leave all of my readers hanging, just wondering what is going on in my life!!!! Ok, I am really only talking about you Vicki, since you are my only reader!! Anyway, I recently went to education week with my wonderful mother and sisters and neice. (Julie, yes fall under the sisters category!) We had a fabulous time going from class to class, learning how to better ourselves and our families. Basically I learned that I have ALOT to work on. It was so nice to just go and spend some good quality time with my family, and if I have learned anything from the events of this summer, it is to always cherish every second that you have with your family.
After ed week, a few of us ran in a 1/2 marathon. At about mile 8 I though to myself, "who's stupid idea was this?" But, we all finished, me a little slower than everyone else, but none the less, I finished. We then all headed to seven peak with all the kids and had a ball. My two little stinkers, who are normally scared by water, had the time of their lives. All in all, it was a wonderful week.

What can I say??? Here is our little model. He sure does love the camera and definitely loves to pose. He is always in front of the mirror making sure that his hair is in place and making sure there is about 4 gallons of hairspray in it. I am going to have to start hiding the hairspray from him!!

Here is our little sweetie sprorting her new haircut. I hope you all notice the cute little bangs that she cut herself. I think she is destined to be a hairstylist!!! So I am not sure if any of you have those little cribs for dolls, but in our house we don't use them for dolls. That is Mckaylee's favorite bed!!

Just a little insight of what goes on in our home!!! Never a dull moment in the Harmon home.

So, I have been doing a lot of blog reading and have realized that I am so not a blogger. Every blogger seems to always have some fabulous new story or some exciting news. Then there is me. I must live a pretty boring life, because my most exciting news is the 2 hour nap that I got to take yesterday. Ya pretty lame, I know. So I have decided that I need to start living a more un-boring life so that I can fit in with all of the die hard bloggers. My new goal is to be able to write an exciting story at least once a week!! That is going to be hard for me, but I am going to try my hardest!!!

Well, here is my exciting story from this week. Yesterday one of my friends asked to me to drive her to pick up her car from the fix it place. So, being the nice friend that I am, I took her. She was still finishing the story she was telling me when we got there, so I decided to park. Let me tell you right now, BAD IDEA!! Anyway, she finishes her story and decides that it is time for her to leave so she gets out of the car. As she is getting out, I look behind me and some rude tow truck driver is parked right behind me. Can you believe the nerve of some people!! She tells me that she thinks I can squeeze out and asked if I wanted her to help. I tell her no and so she goes on her way. I sit there for a little bit, my blood boiling, and then decide to try to attempt the escape. I think I went from reverse to drive like 342 times before I realized I was going nowhere. Finally I just parked and sat and waited for the man to come back to his truck and move it. Needless to say, he finally did. I think that there was probably a hidden camera somewhere and they were all inside watching me and laughing at me try the impossible. Oh well, I finally made it home and that is where my 2 hour nap came into play. It was much needed!!!
