So, the other day I got a call at work from Ryan. He was calling to tell me that Preston had gotten his school pictures back. I got excited and started asking how they looked and if they were cute, you know, the normal questions!! He then tells me that Preston decided to start handing them out while he was on the bus. Ya, he handed out his 8x10 picture to some lucky girl and also full sheet of wallets to another lucky girl!! That's my boy!! Poor Ryan had to go the the girls house that had our only 8x10 of him and had to ask for it back. How lame are we!!!!
Anyway, what teacher gives their kindergarten students their pictures anyway??? I think that I wll be picking them up personally next year!!!

Here are just a few pictures of my cutest kids sleeping. They are so innocent and sweet, while they are sleeping that is!!!!

I was just reading Linz's blog and notice that she tagged me. I have never been tagged so this is so exciting!!!! I guess I am just supposed to list 6 of my quirks, and then tag 6 other people. Is it sad that I don't have 6 people to tag?? I will do my best.

1-I have to wear two shirts no matter what, and in fact, a lot of times, I will wear 3. I can't stand it if I don't have at least 2 shirts on. Doesn't feel right.
2-If I am watching tv, the volume number has to be on an even number. I can't concentrate if I know it is on an odd number. I have even trained Ryan to always make sure it is on an even. Although, for some reason, it can be on 5 or 15, but those are the only two odd numbers!!
3-I hate to cook or clean. Ryan does most all of the cooking. I will clean, but I hate to do it.
4-I love working in the pharmacy and love learning about all of the different drugs and what they are used for. It is so interesting to me.
5-I can not be on time to church. I swear it doesn't matter what time I wake up, I can't get there on time. Really need to work on it!
6-I love looking at other peoples blogs, even if I have no clue who they are. I might be addicted!

Ok, I am so lame. I have so many other quirks, but don't need to expose them all!!! Anyway, I tag Vick, Whitney H., Brynn, Jeanna, Amy H, and Jules!! Have fun.

Ok, first off, sorry that I have no clue how to rotate the last picture. I so shouldn't be allowed to blog because I don't know how to do anything. Oh well.
So, did anyone else get dumped on this weekend?? It snowed so much. These pictures don't do it justice. My kids were loving it, though. In the Jackson Hole Daily, they had pictures of people up on the mountains skiing. It is going to be a long winter if it keeps up like this!!!! But, I guess that just means more time for me to roll down the ski hill with my snowboard attatched acting like I know what I am doing!!!!! Happy winter to everyone!

Ok, so it has been a little bit since I have posted and I know that everyone has been sitting around waiting for this day to arrive!!! Well, since I last posted about Vegas, I feel like I have been on the go, but looking back, I don't even know what I was doing!! How bad is that?
A couple of weekends ago, my mother and her sister came up to Jackson to spend a few days with us. We all drove up to yellowstone and stayed the night at a hotel by Old Faithful. It was sort of an adventure, but it was a lot of fun! We found that you can't get ice cream or crossword puzzles after about 5 pm. Everything closes extra early in the off season!! The next morning we got up and did our tour of the park.

Well, here I am again. Lucky for all of you reading, I actually have something to write about!!! Ryan and I just recently went to vegas with my sisters, Anrea and Allison, and their husbands. It was such a fun time. We went to some amazing shows, shopped A LOT, ate A LOT, and walked up and down that strip A LOT. It was so much fun and it was such a needed break.

But, getting to vegas is another story. The morning before we were supposed to be flying out, I realized that my license and passport were nowhere to be found. We all were in a panic. I thought that I was going to have to stay home. But, it all worked out and I got to fly. Just a little FYI, if you have no picture id, they allowed me to just use my temporary license, birth certificate and social security card!!! It was kind of a hassle, but i got on that plane!! It was such a good weekend. Here are some pictures of our fun weekend.

This is us at the blue man group. It was such a fun show.

Just a few pics of us at the wax museum. I thing we had a little too much fun there!!! We really thought they were real!
Just waiting for the plane at the airport!!
Here is Ryan in the middle of the street. He was the only brave one in our bunch. The rest of us waited for the walking guy to come up before we would cross!!
At the amazing M&M world. I had never been there before. There are 4 stinking floors of M&M stuff. It was awesome. We got our kids some good stuff.
This is at the Coke store. Those shirt are sented and they smelt so good. The one I was smelling was root beer. It really smelled like root beer and it really made you thirsty!!

Here is our little school boy. He is loving school, but still asks everyday when he gets a day off. He is so my son. The other day I was asking him what his favorite subjects were and of course he said lunch and recess. I, personally, would still say that those were my two favorite subjects!!!

I love where we live. This is the view from one of the golf courses here. You can't really see the tetons in the back, but this course has the most amazing view of them. I think that is why my game was so bad that day because all I could do was look around at how pretty it was there!!! (OK, that is just my excuse!)
So, I know that everyone has been anxiously awaiting a new post from me, so here it is!!! (ok just kidding, the only one is Vicki) Well, the long awaited day finally came for my little Preston to start school. Honestly, I was kind of excited because he was getting so bored at home and really needed to go find some friends. But, as the day quickly approached, I found myself getting a little sad and then as I was driving him to school, I almost cried. It was hard. But, he is loving it, well, he is loving recess, and so that makes me happy!!

We had a few mishaps on the first day. To start off, my dumb camera was completly dead, hence the reason I have no pictures to post!! I think that I was the only mom dropping my child off that didn't have a camera. But, I did have my phone out snapping a few pictures. Then there was the call on my cell phone. I happened to be at work but luckily took my phone with me. I noticed that there was a message so I listened to it. It was this nice lady from the school telling me that Preston had gotten off at the wrong bus stop. My heart sank as I listened to it. I hung up and tried calling Ryan, but he wasn't answering. I was so scared. Finally I got a hold of Ry and he told me the Preston was fine, he had just decided to get off at some random bus stop. Luckily our babysitter went and found him. So, everyday as I am walking him to the bus stop I tell him exactly where to get off!!!
Here is my cute little family doing what we all do best!! Being couch potatoes!! But, at least we do it as a family, right??? Anyway, notice my son who is our little model. He had to make sure he looked good in his pose before I took the picture!!

A better shot of the front

The next picture is the back and it has all the kids names on it. It also has our family motto, which is, "No empty chairs in the eternities." This is a picture of the front. My dad loved running and was actually out running when he passed away, so on the bottom it says, "He just kept running home." You really can't see them in this picture, but right after that saying, there are little foot prints that lead up the heaven. Under the temple, it says, "Forever sweethearts." As much as we don't like the fact that he is gone, his headstone turned out as pretty as we hoped.
This might seem a little different to be posting, but my father just recently passed away and this is the first time some of my siblings are getting to see this. This is a picture of his headstone. We all miss him so much and it has been hard to not have him with us, but we know he is where he needs to be. We love you dad!!

Not our best picture, but we are having fun taking pictures of ourselves!!!

It is so amazing how sweet and innocent they are when they are sleeping??
Well, my new goal to live an un-boring life really hasn't worked. I never have anything to write about in my blog, but I feel that I can't leave all of my readers hanging, just wondering what is going on in my life!!!! Ok, I am really only talking about you Vicki, since you are my only reader!! Anyway, I recently went to education week with my wonderful mother and sisters and neice. (Julie, yes fall under the sisters category!) We had a fabulous time going from class to class, learning how to better ourselves and our families. Basically I learned that I have ALOT to work on. It was so nice to just go and spend some good quality time with my family, and if I have learned anything from the events of this summer, it is to always cherish every second that you have with your family.
After ed week, a few of us ran in a 1/2 marathon. At about mile 8 I though to myself, "who's stupid idea was this?" But, we all finished, me a little slower than everyone else, but none the less, I finished. We then all headed to seven peak with all the kids and had a ball. My two little stinkers, who are normally scared by water, had the time of their lives. All in all, it was a wonderful week.

What can I say??? Here is our little model. He sure does love the camera and definitely loves to pose. He is always in front of the mirror making sure that his hair is in place and making sure there is about 4 gallons of hairspray in it. I am going to have to start hiding the hairspray from him!!

Here is our little sweetie sprorting her new haircut. I hope you all notice the cute little bangs that she cut herself. I think she is destined to be a hairstylist!!! So I am not sure if any of you have those little cribs for dolls, but in our house we don't use them for dolls. That is Mckaylee's favorite bed!!

Just a little insight of what goes on in our home!!! Never a dull moment in the Harmon home.

So, I have been doing a lot of blog reading and have realized that I am so not a blogger. Every blogger seems to always have some fabulous new story or some exciting news. Then there is me. I must live a pretty boring life, because my most exciting news is the 2 hour nap that I got to take yesterday. Ya pretty lame, I know. So I have decided that I need to start living a more un-boring life so that I can fit in with all of the die hard bloggers. My new goal is to be able to write an exciting story at least once a week!! That is going to be hard for me, but I am going to try my hardest!!!

Well, here is my exciting story from this week. Yesterday one of my friends asked to me to drive her to pick up her car from the fix it place. So, being the nice friend that I am, I took her. She was still finishing the story she was telling me when we got there, so I decided to park. Let me tell you right now, BAD IDEA!! Anyway, she finishes her story and decides that it is time for her to leave so she gets out of the car. As she is getting out, I look behind me and some rude tow truck driver is parked right behind me. Can you believe the nerve of some people!! She tells me that she thinks I can squeeze out and asked if I wanted her to help. I tell her no and so she goes on her way. I sit there for a little bit, my blood boiling, and then decide to try to attempt the escape. I think I went from reverse to drive like 342 times before I realized I was going nowhere. Finally I just parked and sat and waited for the man to come back to his truck and move it. Needless to say, he finally did. I think that there was probably a hidden camera somewhere and they were all inside watching me and laughing at me try the impossible. Oh well, I finally made it home and that is where my 2 hour nap came into play. It was much needed!!!

I guess I was a little jealous when I saw that my sister Vicki had a blog, so I decided that I better try to show her up!!! I am a little lost right now, so sorry if this isn't turning out quite right.

Ryan and I are living here in the beautiful Jackson, Wyoming. Ryan is working for Evans construction. He does estimating for them and he loves it very much. I am working at Albertsons and am working towards getting certified as a Technician in the pharmacy. If you ever have any drug questions, you know who to call!! I know the good drugs!! Oh, and yes I just won my checking competition, which made my family so very happy. I think that gained me the golden child award that is very much coveted in my family. Anyway, Ryan and I just celebrated our 7th year anniversary. Don't worry that we were going to go enjoy a movie by ourselves that night, but it was sold out. Can you believe that a movie was sold out on a monday night, in Wyoming???? Ya, we could not believe it either!! Anyway, we have two beautiful little children that keep us on our toes. Preston is our oldest and he is 5. He starts school this year and is so excited. I am not going to lie, I am pretty excited too!! He gets so bored with me and Mckaylee. Speaking of Mckaylee, she is our youngest and our spoiled little princess. She is 3 and thinks she is the boss. We recently cut off her long, beautiful hair and we are loving her new haircut. Well, the day after we cut it, she felt like she needed to add to it, so she cut herself some new bangs!! To be honest, I was quite impressed with her work but I couldn't let her know that or she would start cutting everyones hair!!

Anyway, I guess that is the harmon family in a nutshell. Hope you have enjoyed getting to hear about our crazy family!!!
